Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide information to the owners of the site.

Alaga uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and ensure the platform functions correctly. This policy explains exactly which cookies we set, why we set them, and how you can manage them.

2. Cookies We Use

Below is a detailed breakdown of every cookie Alaga sets or allows, organized by category.

Essential / Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the platform to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use authenticated features. They cannot be disabled.

A note on analytics: We currently do not use third-party analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and the table above accordingly.

3. How to Manage Cookies

Most web browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. The exact steps vary by browser, but you can typically find cookie controls under "Privacy" or "Security" in your browser preferences.

  • View and delete individual cookies or clear all cookies at once
  • Block all cookies, or only third-party cookies
  • Set per-site cookie preferences
  • Configure your browser to prompt you before accepting cookies

Important: Disabling essential cookies (the Supabase Auth cookies listed above) will prevent you from logging in to Alaga. Clearing cookies will end your current session and require you to sign in again.

4. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. Alaga does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. We will update this policy if that changes. For more detail on how we handle your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
