Our Story
Alaga started when Chris and Alexa spent time inside real pet care businesses and kept seeing the same problems. Groomers juggling paper calendars. Kennel owners wrestling with spreadsheets. Multi-service facilities paying for three or four different tools that never shared data with each other.
The pet care industry deserved a modern, all-in-one platform -- one that handles grooming, boarding, daycare, and training under a single roof, at a price that doesn't punish small businesses for growing. That's what we set out to build.
The name "Alaga" comes from the Filipino Tagalog word meaning "to care for a pet." It captures exactly what this platform is about: helping the people who care for our pets run better businesses so they can focus on the animals.
Every feature in Alaga was shaped by conversations with real groomers, kennel operators, daycare managers, and trainers. We didn't build what we thought they needed -- we built what they told us they needed.
