# Getting around the calendar
The Facility Calendar (sidebar: Calendar, Facility Calendar) is where the day is run.

## Views

Four view buttons sit at the top right: **day**, **week**, **month** and **agenda**. Day and week show staff as columns. Agenda is a scrollable list for the week, useful on a phone.

The arrows and the **Today** button move you through time. The mini calendar on the left is for jumping to a date — days that already have appointments show a dot. You can collapse it to reclaim screen width, and Alaga remembers your choice.

## Filters

- **All Staff** — tick individual team members, or use Select All / Clear.
- **All Statuses** — Show All, or Active Only to hide cancelled and completed work.

## Dragging to reschedule

In **day** and **week** view you can drag an appointment block to a different time or a different staff column, and the appointment is rescheduled and reassigned when you drop it. Dropping it on the unassigned column clears the assigned staff member.

Dragging the bottom edge of a block resizes it in 15-minute steps, which changes the end time.

Month and agenda views are read-only for dragging — click through to the appointment instead.

## Reading a block

The colour on the left edge of each block is its status. Cancelled appointments are struck through. Clicking a block opens the side panel, with **Details** and **Charges** tabs and the same status buttons you get on the full appointment page.

## Time and dates

The calendar renders in your business's timezone and time format. Both are set under Business Settings, Business Profile, along with which day the week starts on. Online booking slots are offered in the business timezone as well, not the visitor's, so a client booking from another state sees your hours.
